Beautiful Views
March 2013
By Barbara H. (Stewartsville, NJ)
"Words cannot adequately describe the beautiful views from this home. The home is clean, comfortable and well appointed with everything one would require for an enjoyable restful vacation. Large rooms, comfortable furniture, wonderful screened and open decks. Good size nicely stocked kitchen. Lots to do within a reasonable distance. Bring a camera for loads of pictures - almost every room has a view! We loved our two weeks - hope to get back soon."
Mountain Bliss
October 2012
By Cathy D. (Media, PA)
"We gathered for an extended family weekend. We could not have chosen a better resting place than the Blue Ridge Mountain Paradise". The house was beautiful, clean, and well appointed. Can not get any better than having a cup of coffee on the enclosed porch watching the mist burn off the mountains in the morning. Those evening fires in the fire pit behind the house will be talked about for years to come. We certainly will make every effort to return as soon as possible."
Great Mini-Vacation at this House
October 2012
By Judy H. (Lyons, GA)
"We were very pleased with the house. It was comfortable & lovely. The antiques were nice. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch & enjoying the view.We noticed some trees had been cut to provide a view, which was great. It would be an even better view if a few more were gone, but can understand why you wouldn't want to do that..The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals.Good quality pots & fry pans. We have stayed in several vacation houses & this kitchen was the best equipped. We will recommend this property to others, it was a great deal to get 1 free night when rent 2 nights. I love bargains & this one is a great deal..Good quality. Hopefully we will be back when we are in this area.
Natures' Blessings
July 2012
By Cindy P. (Boynton Beach, FL)
"A vacation for two! What a blessing it was! Natures' vacation from concrete, cell phones, stressful jobs and more! This Blairsville home had ALL the amenities needed and more! Right in the heart of nature, woodlands, mountains and water! What more could we ask for? Deer in the mornings, Birds to sing to you, horses to enjoy...We could go on and on....By the second day views of concrete and cement just melted away! Daily trips into the mountains were on the top of our list of things to do....Nottely dam was just as awesome as Vogely Park, Brasstown Bald Mountain, Blue Ridge downtown, Alpine Village , etc. etc. and short trips into Murphy, N.C. and Tennessee were almost as close as our front door...Dinners out were enjoyed on a daily basis and noticeably much more homemade than your typical restaurants..... Time came to a close 7 days later and, regretably, we had to go...It was a sad 13 hour trip home....Will we go again? You betcha!....
Felt Like We Were Staying at Grandma's House!
June 2012
By Eileen S. (Decatur, GA)
"We really enoyed the property! Pamela was VERY helpful in answering our questions about the night sky, and I do believe that she saw to it that the field was mowed just before our stay so that my husband could take his telescope into the field to get a good horizon! Thanks! We really enjoyed the accomodations.... The property was everything promised, and we feel like we got a great deal for our money! We hope to be able to come again soon. I felt like I was staying at Grandma's house!"

Wonderful Spring Break!
May 2012
By Debbie J. (Decatur, AL)
"We had a wonderful Spring Break in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There is so much to do and so much to see in that area. We explored all day and then came home to a comfortable, beautiful, spacious home where it was easy to relax and recuperate from all of the fun we had so we could go out and explore some more the next day. The views were breathtaking from the house! We had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back."

Beautiful, quiet destination
May 20, 2011
by Christine S. (St. Petersburg, FL)
"This location is super quiet. The house is beautiful and the view from the kitchen, living room, dining room and kitchen is perfect...full of trees, rolling hills, deer, and horses. I'm certain it's a spectacular view in every season. The main house is very comfortable with plenty of room. The kitchen is spacious, plenty of equipment and counter space. We cooked in the kitchen every day. The large screened in porch is a room unto itself...one of our guests even slept on the porch a few nights. The master bedroom is huge with a large bathroom. One bedroom on the main floor has a double bed with a large window with a great view. The smaller bedroom has two twin beds. It is a bit of drive to the grocery store, town, restaurants: 20-30 minutes. So that can be part of the charm if you want to escape the city. The donkeys and the horses along the way to town provide great photo opps. Hiking.... is spectacular. I would definitely stay here again! It is a great value and the owner was a pleasure to work with. I would definitely stay here again! It is a great value and the owner was a pleasure to work with."

Secluded Paradise
September 21, 2010
By Maureen & Hugh Williamson (Plant City, Fl USA)
"From the moment we stepped inside my husband and I felt right at home. The house is exactly as described and more. The location is centrally located in the Georgia mountains. We took the train in Blue Ridge to the Tennessee border, we visited Helen, went antique shopping in Elijay, visited Brasstown Bald, climbed up to see the Amicola Falls. We also visited Cherokee N.C and the Arts Festival in Young Harris and the Mountain Heritage Festival in Blairsville. But perhaps the time we enjoyed the most was sitting on the deck, drinking our morning coffee, watching the sunrise and the deer munching on the green grass. The view of the mountains is fantastic. You feel far away from the troubles of the world and yet you are only minutes from stores and restaurants. We certainly hope to return."

"Our stay was wonderful. We enjoy the mountains and the peace and quiet. This was our first time at this rental and are already making plans to return. My kids loved the nearby horseback riding and Vogel State Park. Brasstown Bald is a must see. The entire place was clean and comfortable. The only thing we needed was groceries. This house was secluded and beautiful and we highly recommend staying here."

"This house and location cannot be topped as far as convenience to town, medical facilities, restaurants, etc. Nice large house, room for all, just very relaxing on the back porch with the grandest of views of the mountains. Such a country location!! You can't find another place as nice as this for the rates. It was a pleasure, I plan to return soon!!"
